Free space error message when have space

Hi I am simply trying to sync my 2000 itunes playlist songs

They worked on my iphone previously but then I deleted music and wanted to sync my iphone to get rid of the songs I deleted.

This time I went to sync the iphone it say's an additional 4.8 gb is required but I have 8 gb recquired.

All the songs fit before and it say's there is free space so why am I getting this message?

The iPhone ” cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 4.77 GB required).
