Liquid damaged iPhone 4S

Hi,

I splashed some water on my iPhone over the weekend and it failed to turn on.

I had it in rice overnight and it will now switch on, I've been able to backup my data, but it's still misbehaving, home button not working and getting intermittent Temperature errors.  I've turned it off for now.

I'm debating whether to get it replaced at the Apple store or try to get one of many companies specialising in iPhone repairs to fix it.

Or even just to leave it in the rice for longer and hope for the best.

If I take it to the Apple store (the OOW replacement is like £140) will this be a NEW 4S they replace it with, or a refurb?
