Picture messaging in Messages Loading photo won't upload when click to make it fit my screen

is anyone else having this problem? basically when I receive a photo from a friend in Messages, I tap on the photo & all I see is a "Loading..." & it won't load!! Therefore I cannot see the photo!!! this is a big issue with anyone that sends or receives photos!! I realize that it started doing this since I upgraded my iphone 5 to 6.0.2 update. funny... -_-
