So I just got an iPhone 5, coming from an antique Windows Mobile 6.5 phone and I'm going crazy trying to make it user friendly.
Perhaps someone could enligten me as to why none of the following features are available for iPhones, when in every other phone (even non-smart phones!) they have been around for years...
Widgets (Being able to see your calendar immediately, all the time)
Keyboard options. (I hate the layout of the stock keyboard, it's so irritating to use grammer I never even bother to look for punctuation marks any more)
Some really crappy program that says it works like Swype is #75 in the app store under "utility" and it's terrible. How does such a terrible application make it to the top 100 utility apps downloaded? because people can't stand the apple keybaord. Why are we forced to use it?
Gesture unlocking instead of pins
Pictures in contact list (Maybe I want to see who has a picture and who doesn't without clicking on everyone?)
Weather icons that have the actual temp and don't just say 72 forever. Really, why does it say 72?
USB file transfer of anything not just pictures
Putting icons where I want them, not just left to right, top to bottom.
Why can't I put the NewsStand app in a subfolder?
Why is there mo MicroSD slot? Oh I know why, so they can charge $100 for 16 gigs, a $4 value.
I don't get it, if Apple is supposed to have innovation and user experience at their core, why do they prevent you from making their product user friendly?
