lost ability to turn on wifi after updating to iOS 6.0.1 on iPhone 4S

My iPhone,4s cannot pickup my wifi at home nor anyplace else!  My verizon cellular data is going to take a major hit until I can get wifi turned back on.  Anyone else lose wifi connectivity on their iPhones recently. It worked fine for 8 months. All other wifi devices:  my ipad2, MacBook Pro , etc are still working fine. There have been no changes nor router problems. Only the iPhone loss of connectivity.
