How to sync playlist

the new iTunes is terrible by the way, you really need a way to downgrade to an older Better version! It is so not user freindly that I can not figure out how to sync a playlist I have in my itunes to my iphone. You would think it would be like any other experience with transfering music, you just click and drag. But nope, it doesn't work?? Why not? I don't know why you guys change things to make it more difficult! you guys need to think about ease of use and not making things look prettier or more slimline!
