iPhone video resolution / frame size question

Hi everyone,

Could someone clarify for me the resolution of the iPhone 5 video. I thought it was 1080p but the clip I just shot and opened in Quicktime shows it to be 568 x 320 (Actual). I imported it to FCP7 and it seems to be the same. Is there a way to change the setting on the iPhone? If there is I've not been able to find it.

Please can someone help me to shoot and edit in the highest resolution my phone can produce?
