connect my iphone 3gs to computer then when try and drag and drop pictures and music( from my old phone) into phone it doesn`t let . just wanted to weather was something in settings

So yeah i put all images on old phone onto computer then connect my iphone 3gs up to computer try to drag and drop onto phone but it just denies me. is there a button that i havn`t pressed or something
