Why my brand new iPhone 5 show 6 days of talk time under cell usage section of general settings Was my phone repackaged

Just curious if I can find this out somewhere ? I purchased new from A Verizon owned store .... When i go to general then usage and then cellular usage it says the phone was reset and that prior to the rest there was 6 days and 2 hours of talk time ?  I also purchased a new iPhone 5 for my wife and checked her settings and hers does not show this usage.....

Just looking for some kind of logical explanation and it i should be concerned and return it....
