Mass update for multiple devices

Hi,

I am working for an organization which has a large number of iphone/ipads which numbers around 500+, all set up individually with their own itunes accounts.

They are in the hands of users who are not overly tech savvy and most of these need the new update applied.

I am trying to come up with a way to be able to mass update if possible all of these devices. Some ideas have been to download the ipsw file but then how to deploy it after is an issue.

Is there any kind of software which could accomodate having IMEI's or serials inputted and then will maybe FTP the files? i dont know im just guessing at this point..

If anyone has any suggestions i would be happy to hear them or to confirm the situation is hopeless and it will have to be done one by one.
