how to delete photos

Hello all, here's the thing:

I have over 700 photos on my iphone.

They are automatically synchronized in dropbox so I have a copy in the cloud.

I have copied the dropbox folder somewhere else so I don't lose the photos if I do a mistake.

Now, I would like to delete the photos from the iphone only.

How do I do that?
