iOS6 update killed phone

I have a Sprint iPhone 4.

After the ios6 updated automatically it ran through it's updating process. Once it finished it prompted me to plug my phone into iTunes. Once plugged in it told me I had to restore my phone to it's factory settings. So I did. Then it said the restoration failed and my phones screen went purple. Now it isn't recognized by iTunes, and wont turn on.

Is there a way to fix this?
