Videos transfered from iPhone 5 are jerky

I take a video. It plays back fine. Then I transfer it by USB to my Sony Vaio running Vista. It plays back in QuickTime but it doesn't run smoothly. It jerks every half to three quarters of a second. Sound doesn't jerk at all.

Any thoughts as to why and what could be done? Anyone else had this?
