What will happen if iPhone 5 recalled replaced

I have just ordered an iPhone 5 with my meager savings and I have been reading everything on the Internet about it. Some complaints have been made about heat and scratching and a small assortment of other things, I just want to know if they do recall or change/modify the iPhone (materials etc) will the people who bought the "old" iPhone 5 have theirs replaced free of charge?

Would it have been better if it had a glass backing still?

And the docks? How will you not snap the lightening?

P.s. still excited to get it though!
