rolling back to ios 5 from ios 6

Apple, please please please let me roll back to ios5, Google Maps is the feature I used most to get directions, to find out where things are, and to get addresses, street views, etc.  Why trade the wealth of information available from Google about locations, routes, names, street and sattelite images, for some very sparse Yelp data and a very incomplete maps app?  Do you not think that a mass exodus away from iphone will not ensue after you burn the raison d'etre of what it means to be a smartphone?  I would have thought that the way former Apple executives ran the company into the ground after ousting Steve Jobs in the late 80s would have left a strong impression on you.  Alienating the majority of your userbase can't possibly be the indended consequence for this inferior app.  Did you guys not run this by something known as QA?

In short, please sign ios5 for a few more days or weeks so people can continue to use their iPhones rather than giving up in disgust.  Even better, give us back Google Maps and continue to work on your new app in beta and give us the choice to decide which one to use.  People will respect you for your open-ness and help to win back a feeling of loyalty that is rapidly seeping out of your customers.  I implore you.
