No POI on Maps

Hi all!

Maybe I'm so stupid but I see no POI icons on Maps under iOS6!. I looked for them in some different countries with no success. Also found nothing under Preferences? What am I missing? Are they only available when your actual location is in some countries. I'm living in Germany and I searched in USA, Germany, Switzerland and Spain, and nothing at all...

Some help would be very appreciated.

PS Maps is not soooo perfect but, it fits me ;-)
