When restoring iPhone 4S (older software) to backup it also update software (newer software)
When restoring iPhone 4S 6.1.1 to a 6.1.3 backup, does it also update the software to 6.1.3?
I don't want to update my iPhone software to a 6.1.3 but I want to restore to my previous backup which was on my older iPhone 4S 6.1.3.

My App Store won't load on my iPhone and iTunes Store won't load on Mac
Hi, all of a sudden my App Store won't load on my iPhone. It stays on the loading screen until it goes into auto lock. I have tried all the actions in other similar forums to no avail. And now iTunes Store won't load on my MacBook Pro. I have never had these issues before and Mac I bought brand new in 09 and iPhone is almost 2 years old (bought brand new also). Please any help would be appreciated. Cheers

My iPhone 4S had to be serviced because of 6.1.3 bug. At date of purchase had bought an extra year warranty. warranty still valid or not
The bug was the Wi-Fi chip not working.

My phone froze on one particularly pic. As result cannot view photos on my photo stream. way to unfreeze it iPhone 5
While viewing some photos on my iPhone 5, I uploaded some to Facebook. After uploading about 9, my phone froze. As a result, when I try to view photos on the camera roll or photo stream, it is still locked. What would be the easiest remedy to resolve this issue? Thanks.

I have a big problem, you can say. When I connect the iphone5 to my Mac, itunes responds properly, and all is perfectly fine.
BUT I cannot make a backup, you know where it says BACKUP, under to the right is says "Manual Back Up and Restore"...
and FINALLY to backup you normally click on "BACK UP NOW"
however I CANNOT selected it, its grey so I can't click on that nor the one next to it "Restore Backup"...

Is a Faulty charge port covered under iPhone 5's standard one year warranty? As in the phone will go from charging to not charging without even moving the phone. It happens with multiple chargers as well so it is the phone.

---CARRIER NAME 3G (iPhone 5 without voice service)
Hello!
I was given a new iPhone 5 A1429 unlocked bought in London one month ago. I live in Brazil. Here the model sold is A1428. I had no problems for one week until the phone lost signal and never got it back. I have already talked to the carrier support, to Apple support (both in Brazil and the US where a chat is available) and have tested other chip with the same result ---CARRIER NAME 3G (no signal bars) and unable to make receive calls, send/receive sms, although data service is ok, with EDGE and 3G. Wi-fi is also ok.
I have done all the procedures suggested by Apple/carrier support (turn off, remove the SIM chip, turn on, reset carrier settings, reset all settings, restore through iTunes, etc).
Since I can't go to London now to ask for a replacement (this model don't have hardware support in Brazil, and Apple don't provide international voucher service), I am asking for any other suggestions.
Some clues:
After one of the restore procedures through iTunes, the switch ENABLE 3G was appearing as ENABLE _RAT_ . What does it mean?
My carrier is currently implementing LTE service in my local area but the baseband is not supported by iP5 (Apple Senior Advisor in US asked me to switch off LTE and when I told him this was not an option because it didn't appear on the screen he seemed surprised). Is it possible that the Apple Store in London had already tested the phone with a local carrier chip and it is somehow blocking voice service (I'm no expert, so forgive me for asking nonsense).

No Option to Turn on 4G on iPhone 5
I have an iPhone 5 on THREE UK network, ok I know 4G/LTE isn't available on THREE UK yet but I would have thought the option would have been there, albeit greyed out or something, but it isn't. What happens when THREE UK do roll this out later this year and there is no option to switch to 4G?

There is a speck or black dot in my camera view screen. It goes away when I zoom in but otherwise stays and appears in all my pictures.

I've noticed over the past couple of months that if my phone is plugged in and charging then sometimes when I make a call I can feel a slight buzz through the top of the phone- it actually was alarming enough that after the last time I've stopped making calls unless it's unplugged. To be honest I didn't really give it much thought but after seeing this I'm guessing I should do more than think about it and possibly talk to Vodafone or apple?

Sending broken iPhone to Apple store in another country while am on vacation iPhone 5
Dear all
My iPhone 5 does not work anymore, since yesterday, and I would like to get it repaired or exchanged for a new one.
I live in the UK, but at the moment I am on vacation in Germany, since today.
Unfortunately, there are no Apple stores near me, only a reseller.
What would be the best strategy here?
I thought I could send my iPhone along with a problem description to an Apple store in London, where I will pick it up again after my vacation.
But, is it possible to send a broken iPhone to an Apple store, instead of bringing it there personally?
