clear music out of itunes

hi eveyrone -

i'm having a problem with my 4S.  i don't use my iphone for music, but somehow, i've gotten music onto the phone.  if i go into the "music" app, it shows that i don't have any songs.  but ... if i go into itunes and go to purchased--->music, it shows 232 recent purchases and 232 under "all songs".  if i scroll down, i can see some of my purchases there.

i have no idea how they got on there!  the itunes setting is to not sync any music at all. 

i would i go about clearing this information out of itunes on the phone?
