HT4946 restore an encypted backup

I ruined my phone and purchased an Android device.  I want to restore from my most recent iPhone backup however it is encypted.  I do know the password, how can I retrieve it and convert to an unencrypted version?  I cannot see it in iTunes since I no longer have a device to connect. Thank you
